Question:
Just wanted to let anyone know who is interested in studying Persian in Iran about my experience. I studied at DehKhoda International Center in Tehran and then at Mahestan School in Yazd. While the education at DKIC was good, living and commuting in Tehran was definitely NOT. In an attempt to find a more comfortable place to study, I went to the Mahestan School in Yazd. It is run by Mr. Hosein Pesaran. I received an excellent education and personalized assistance with travel and housing. Yazd was a wonderful experience. I found it peaceful and welcoming.Yazd is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world and unlike other parts of Iran, has preserved its cultural heritage. You literally walk in living history, rather that just visiting a few random historical sites. I plan to return as soon as possible.
