Question:
I'm a Greek national who was traveling in northern Iran (Tabriz to Tehran) for a month and a half in October/November. Had a great time and fell in love with the country, so I re-applied for a tourist visa a few days ago, this time through an agency. They got back to me in a record four days to tell me that my request has been refused. I was really surprised and don't quite know what to do. Could it be because of the visa-policy tightening in the run-up to Feb. 12 as Amin suggested?
Answer:
Now that you are rejected to enter Iran, try through another agency and if you are rejected for the second time then you would need to get a new passport and reapply later.
Fill in the visa form on Iran visa application , it takes about 3-7 working days to get your reference number and two working days to collect your visa at the embassy by direct referral or one working week by posting the docs to the embassy. You can pay the visa fee in cash in Iran.
