I (female) want to travel to Iran together with another female friend. It was recommended tea houses for good and affordable meals, but in many countries in the Middle East tea houses are male-dominated. Is it okay for single women to sit in an Iranian tea house? Only in big cities/if you can see other women/if there is a family section?

It is ok for single women especially since you are a tourist there should not be problem. But usually coffee shops are more popular among young generation but still it should be ok to go to a teahouse as a women.
