I am thinking of attempting to cycle from Europe to India, through Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan and into India. I am a female who will be travelling with a male friend. I don’t strictly have to cycle the journey; I could bring my bike on other means of transport when security is an issue. Is it absolutely mental to attempt this?
