I'm at the very early stages of planning, so do you have any itinerary suggestion? I am part Iranian and would like to visit but i speak little to no farsi. How hard is it to get around alone as a girl in her 20s? How is public transport and are there things i should watch out for (scams, fake taxis etc...)?

Yellow taxis, public buses and metros can be used to commute fast and cheap and of course safe. Plenty of solo travelers both men and women enter Iran each day and travel in the country hassle-free.
