We're planning on traveling to Iran, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan early next year. We live in Turkey so will need to apply for our Iran visa in Istanbul or Ankara. We have UK and Australian passports and not sure which to use???? Any information on applying for Iran Visa in Turkey would be appreciated.

Your Aussie passport is better than your UK one. Aussies are even eligible for VOA at the international Iran airport for which you can fly to Iran without visa and get a 30-day on arrival visa.
You can either fill in the visa form on Iran visa application , it takes about 3-7 working days to get your reference number and two working days to collect your visa at the embassy by direct referral or one working week by posting the docs to the embassy. You can pay the visa fee in cash in Iran.
