At the moment UK citizens are required to take a guided tour with an authorized Iranian travel agency to visit Iran. It is not also possible to take their vehicle with them to travel through Iran. To get the visa in time, they must plan their trip and book their tour at least three months before the trip departure. You can take UK pound to Iran and the exchange offices will accept it but we suggest you take USD or Euro with you.
