Myself & my wife are travelling to iran, and we are also hoping to visit Azerbaijan. We have a single entry visa for iran. We fly into iran on the 10th of August and from there we are hoping to fly directly to azerbaijan without having our iranian visa used up. After 5 days in azerbaijan we plan to fly back to iran and then use up our Iranian visa. Will the iranian stamp our visa when we land their the first time even though we going immediatley to azerbaijan without leaving the airport at tehran.
Answer:
If you don't pass through the immigration and stay in transit, you won't get any stamp and hence can use the visa when you return to Iran after Azerbaijan.
