Question:
I am going to be in iran in march, and was wondering what the weather/winter wear is like there. See my friends in turkey have been wearing gloves and coats, but apparantly Iran isn't cold enough for that.
Answer:
March is not really cold but it depends where you are going. Tabriz is the coldest due to be mountainous, then Mashad, Tehran, Esfahan and Persepolis. So in your trip gradually you should reduce the bulk of your wearing. The best advice is probably to wear Layers then you can remove them or add them if necessary, and a compact umbrella will be useful too.
